Where the Forest meets the Ocean….

These two pieces were inspired by many hikes I have taken in my beloved home of Vancouver Canada where often after a long meandering walk through the forest, we eventually greet the ocean and it is a sight to behold!

The drum was completed today-June 3rd which is the full moon and to me it feels auspicious and perfect for these blue and green pieces to come together.
–
These two are sold together as a pair and were created with cool summer evenings by the campfire in mind, especially after a day of hiking in the forest and/or swimming in the ocean.

The drum is a 14” Elk hide drum dyed with the imprint of leaves from birch, ash and yew, and the shawl is 100% soft merino wools.
