This piece features a handmade antique silver Durga goddess pendant from Rajasthan India and was strung using matte Black Onyx beads with four faceted Carnelian beads between.

Black Onyx is said to carry deep protective abilities as well as strengthening our willpower, focus and strength. Many believe that  onyx also helps to drive motivation and to continuously push you forward in your life. It activates your root and solar plexus, as well as your third eye chakras. This can aid us in being able to fully ground ourselves to the earth.

Durga is a goddess in the Hindu Pantheon and she is a fierce and protective goddess but also with a deep aspect of mothering, showing us what we need, but perhaps not what we want!
