Water Talisman. Pale Waters of the sky

This winter has been one dedicated to waters, and in this way water has found itself channeled into my weavings and paint, into my dreams and now into these talismans.
This set of pieces were dedicated in honour of the waters that sustain us, carry us and nourish our creative and emotional worlds. To wear one is to carry a little bit of water with us, to choose to honour the waters that flow through every crevice and pace on this earth from our own bodies to the deepest of underground rivers….
Each one of these talismans has been cleansed in river water and lovingly placed in a fabric bag for safekeeping, until its person finds it.
This piece has a pendant of clear quartz crystal adorned with a piece of flashy labradorite filled with magic. She is strung using pale blue Aquamarine rondelle
beads, with four matte agate beads.
The featured water stone here is Aquamarine known as a stone to help bring the user courage, serenity and peace. Aquamarine carries the cleansing energy of the sea to reduce stress and quiet the mind.
Aquamarine is deeply connected to the throat chakra, helping to bring clear communication, inner truth, and emotional balance. Historically,aquamarine it was used as a protective talisman for safe travel, especially prized by sailors.
