Riverkeeper Statue and Altar Cloth

Riverkeeper Statue and Altar Cloth

$140.00

These tiny statues carry a big presence when placed on altars and in small sacred places in the home.

In a collaboration with my lovely friend Debbie Berrow of Bell Pine Art Farm we have come together to create a pair of offerings that are perfect together, one of her small statues and one of my small altar cloths.

Description

With the collaboration and blessing of Grandmother Agnus Baker Pilgrim, of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, Debbie designed the “Riverkeeper” sculpture. Each piece carries Grandma Aggie’s prayer to protect those who hold them and gives voice to the waters of our Earth. The Riverkeeper Totem is an image of Grandmother Aggie, calling the salmon home.

A small hole in the bottom of the Riverkeeper Totem holds a cloth for collecting drops of sacred water and acknowledging it as a living being. A beautiful way to carry the water essence from any sacred site or ceremony. Leave the cloth in place. As the water wicks into her body, she holds the living vibration and magnetism of each place and experience.

Each piece carries Grandmother Agnes Baker Pilgrim’s blessing. This little statue is paired with a Blue and black altar cloth using pure linen threads and small sequins to represent the stars and the great mystery of the universe.

The statue was handmade in Oregon from Pacific Northwest clay, 3.5 inches tall and the altar cloth approx 10″x10″ was woven in B.C Canada
